You have several options, there is the ebay option, you could sell in a consignment shop, also many high schools have a used formal sale a few weeks before prom (but that would be a little late for your christmas fund.) You could also place an add in your local paper. If you bought the dress for $400.00, you will most likely take a big hit on re sale value, my guess is $100.00 to $150.00. I have an entire closet full of formals that I loan out to who ever wants to borrow them. Good Luck!

You could put an add in your paper, sell it on ebay, or go to a local consignment store that will sell it for you can keep a percentage of the profits.

You can try eBay, but I recommend seeing if there is a place in town that buys gowns. Where I live, they have this place called Again Gowns, where they buy wedding dresses, prom dresses, etc. and sell used dresses.
